How to pay for your plastic surgery
3 WAYS TO FUND YOUR PLASTIC SURGERY
Start a Special Purpose Savings Fund.
There are a range of special purpose savings accounts including ING, Bankwest, ME Bank, St George, HSBC, Bank of Melbourne & Rabobank.
Reduce your Home Loan Interest by using your Home Loan to Save Up.
Save on home loan interest by paying down your home mortgage and then redrawing when you’re ready to have surgery.
Withdrawing from your Super Fund to pay for Surgery.
Through following a special government process, Superannuation Funds can sometimes be accessed to pay for life-changing surgery. This is likely to apply to Abdominoplasty (Tummy Tuck), Breast Reduction, Body Lift Surgery after massive weight loss, Rhinoplasty & Eyelid Lifts. The Department of Human Services (DHS) will assess Early Super Fund Access for medical procedures that treat life-threatening illnesses & chronic pain. The final decision will be made by your Super Fund. Find out more at the DHS website: www.humanservices.gov.au/customer/services/centrelink/early-release-of-superannuation
