Dr Rebecca Wyten is a female specialist Plastic Surgeon whose practice focuses on cosmetic and plastic surgery for women, particularly breast and abdominal surgery. Dr Wyten is a member of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS), and a member of the Australasian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) and the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS).

Experience and Qualifications

Dr Wyten completed a Bachelor of Science (Molecular Biology and Genetics) at the University of Adelaide, and graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Sydney. She then completed her specialist training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, obtaining her Fellowship from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS, Plas).

Dr Wyten has cared for patients in Australia, and internationally, having volunteered with Open Heart International performing plastic surgery on burn victims in Nepal, and with Interplast performing cleft lip and palate surgery in developing countries.

Subspecialty interests

Dr Wyten’s subspecialty interests are plastic and cosmetic breast and abdominal surgeries for women. She has extensive experience caring for women following significant body changes, such as after pregnancy, menopause, and significant weight loss. She regularly performs the following procedures:

  • Breast augmentation surgery with breast implants
  • Breast augmentation surgery using fat grafting
  • Breast reduction surgery
  • Breast Mastopexy with and without breast implants
  • Removal of breast implants (with or without replacement of implants)
  • Abdominoplasty surgery
